This is a hand coloured plate-signed pochoir print from La Gazette Du Bon Ton, Issue #5 (1914) Plate 44. The war issues of GBT are particularly rare. The usual dismissive snub to the male in this era of the New Woman is illustrated by his partial appearance only, just the head, in this fishing dramalogue. Many of these Gazette images contained pointed social commentary.
