George Barbier Dogaresse Pochoir This hand-coloured pochoir is from La Guirlande, one of the most exclusive of the Paris fashion publications (edition size 800, 1919- 1920). The gown is rendered in arresting gold ink; the balance of the colours are deep, rich and spectacular. The background decor is reminiscent of the dragon-themed "Sortileges" from Gazette du Bon Ton.
