La Guirlande was one of the most exclusive of the Paris fashion publications (edition size 800) and is quite rare as it was produced in 1919 and 1920 only. (See also Barbier and Brunelleschi.) This classical depiction of the pool by the artist Vallee set in Claridge's, London celebrates the Roman bath theme so representative of the luxurious art deco era.
