Original pochoir from the series of 10 images tipped in to "Les Femmes de ce Temps" ("Women of Our Times"), with accompanying text "Reflexions de Rene Kerdyk", total edition 500, Paris, c. 1925. This is pochoir at its technical best; each could be mistaken for watercolor, such is the painterly effect. Rich saturated gouache paint gives each artwork a jewel-like quality. Guy Arnoux guaranteed his name in Art Deco history with this series: telling vignettes of the social and emotional life of the newly-liberated Parisian woman in the 1920s.
