Hand coloured pochoir print rom “Dessins sur les Danses de Vaslav Nijinsky” (1913). Barbier actually began working on this homage to the genius of Nijinsky in 1910, ultimately producing one of the most exquisite tributes to ballet of the early 20th C. This particular piece was used for the cover of the book "Art Deco Prints" by Giuliano Ercoli (Rizzoli, New York, 1989), one of the key reference books for pochoir art.
