A genuine, hand coloured, artist signed pochoir print from Modes et Manières d'Aujourd'hui: 1919, Plate II. Limited to only 300 copies, the "M&M" audience was the very wealthy. Each annual issue featured text of poetry, fashion and entertainment, illustrated in a series of 12 pochoirs. Each edition was devoted exclusively to one artist. In Plate II Marty continues to elaborate his theme for this issue - the return to peace and family life following the Great War. The park is now a green refuge, the children are joyous, the young mother ever fashionable and the mansion in the background is symbolic of wealth and success to come.
