Plate-signed pochoir print produced as Plate #38 of the Gazette du Bon Ton (April 1914) - the third year of publication. The early GBT issues are more rare and particularly known for their exquisite pochoir technique. This piece was featured in Julian Robinson's "The Brilliance of Art Deco" (full page #54). Great use of of sparkling gold colouring. This image is highly stylized and thereby puts arresting single-dimensional focus on the provocative dress design.
