This is a hand-coloured original pochoir print from La Gazette Du Bon Ton, Issue #10, August 1913, Plate V. Barbier continues the vogue of combining high drama with fashion illustration established a few years earlier by Geoge Lepape. Here Barbier gives credit to the Empire elements of early Art Deco.
