This is a hand coloured pochoir from the highly collectible Gazette du Bon Ton, Issue #5 (1924-25), Plate #35. There is a lovely use of silvering using the pochoir process. The rich royal purple flooring underscores the picture title and the Orient-inspired backscreen is classic Barbier, including that favourite Art Deco motif, the leaping deer.
